A pair of blue blooms, caught in glass. This Turquoise Flower necklace holds two genuine hand-pressed Bridal Wreath spirea flowers — those tiny turquoise-blue blossoms on their slender stems — floating in a soft aqua teardrop. Because the botanicals are real, every pendant is one of a kind. The blooms are sealed in poly-resin within a 27 x 20mm teardrop setting of gold-plated brass, finished by hand in Shari Dixon's Tennessee artisan studio. It hangs from a gold-plated brass chain measuring 16" with a 2" extension, so you can wear it snug or let it fall a little lower.
This is nature you get to keep — a bit of the meadow that won't fade with the season. Spirea, also called Bridal Wreath, has long signaled triumph and festivity, and is said to open the mind to new perspectives and cast tricky moments in fresh light. That makes it a quietly meaningful piece to wear yourself, or to hand to someone stepping into something new.
Carry a little triumph around your neck — and let two blooms do the talking.
